Stay safe on the roads

Whether you're staying home or travelling over December, you will probably see more cars on the road. While everyone wants to get to their destination safely, more cars unfortunately mean more chances for accidents to happen. We’d therefore like to remind you to buckle up and of what to do in a medical emergency.

Buckle up for less injuries

You can't prevent accidents, but you can prevent some injuries. In an accident, seatbelts help to keep people from moving around too much in the car when the car suddenly stops moving or moves in a different direction. Seatbelts can stop you hitting your head and being thrown from the car.

While you are still parked, make sure everyone is wearing a seatbelt and that small children are strapped in to their car seats. This can save a life – and your pocket. You can be fined if everyone in the car isn’t strapped in.
