Are you receiving our email and text messages?

We often send you important updates and reminders by email or SMS. This is normally much more effective than sending the information in the mail as it reaches you quicker and is kept confidential.

We want to make sure you are up-to-date with news relating to your benefit option, special offers and wellness. However, we’ve found that some of the emails and texts we send are being rejected. Please make sure your contact details are correct and provide us with different ones if your current ones don’t work.

  • Does your email address end in .gov.za?
If so, you may not be getting our messages!

Employers have system rules (software firewalls) in place that prevent our emails from reaching you, especially when we send “bulk mail” messages, such as tax certificates to many members at the same employer.

If your email address with your employer ends in .gov.za, please make sure you give us another, personal email address (one that doesn’t end in .gov.za) that we can send your emails to. If you don’t have another email address, you can quickly and easily create a free email account at various email providers, for example, by going online to www.gmail.com or www.hotmail.uk

  • Has your cellphone number changed?
Please check that we have your latest cellphone number that we can send information and reminders to.

You can update your personal information, including your email address and cell phone number by:

  • Logging on to our website www.lahealth.co.za
  • Calling us on 0860 103 933
  • Mailing the information to PO Box 652509, Benmore, 2010.
