An accredited LA Health broker gives best advice

LA Health uses brokers to give you advice about the benefit option that would best suit your healthcare needs. Your broker can explain how your benefits work, what the benefit limits are and what the Scheme won’t pay for. Your broker will also help you if you have any issues with the Scheme.

All LA Health brokers have certificates to show that the Council for Medical Schemes accredits them. You can ask your broker to show you this certificate.

The Scheme pays commission to your broker
If you have appointed one, your broker is paid a monthly commission for their ongoing services to you. The commission is limited at levels determined by the Council for Medical Schemes.

What to do if your needs have changed during the year and you now need different cover
During the window period, the Scheme and its brokers will tell you about the different benefit options and their benefits at information sessions your employer organises. Please find out about these sessions from your employer or broker, if you have one.

If you can’t attend one of the information sessions, or don’t have access to an LA  Health broker, you can find information about all the benefit options and contributions for 2019 on the website at www.lahealth.co.za

For more information, please contact your broker, email us at service@discovery.co.za or call us on 0860 103 933.
