Simply go for a health check at your employer’s Wellness Day, or at a Clicks Clinic or Dis-Chem Wellness Clinic from 1 January 2020 to 31 October 2020. We will automatically enter you into our draw to stand a chance to win a package deal to the value of R10 000 for a breakaway!
The health check and how we pay for it
We believe you should have your cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar (glucose), and body mass index checked each year. These health measures can show the early signs of disease before you start feeling unwell. This can help you catch medical conditions early or even prevent them! Find out more about screening tests in ‘Prevention is better than cure’.
We pay for one of each of these screening tests a year from your Screening Benefit. If you go to a wellness day at your employer, Clicks or Dis-Chem, this means we pay the whole cost without using your day-to-day benefits.
So even if you don’t win the big prize, you can gain a year of the best possible health!
Lucky draw details
We will automatically enter all members of Remedi who are 18 years or older and went for the health check into the lucky draw. Remedi will pay up to R10 000 to service providers for a holiday. The member will not receive any cash. This prize can only be used for a weekend away and we will not pay any unused money to the winner.

- Entry into the lucky draw is open to all Remedi members who are 18 years or older.
- Entry into the lucky draw starts on 1 January 2020 and ends on 31 October 2020.
- To enter, Remedi members must complete screening tests at their Employer’s wellness day, Clicks Clinic or Dis-Chem Wellness Clinic, and claims must have been processed by 31 October 2020.
- The lucky draw will take place at the Board of Trustees meeting scheduled for 24 November 2020.
- The Board will randomly choose one member to win the lucky draw. The Board may select additional reserve entry, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant.
- The winner will be selected at random.
- The Board’s decision is final.
- Prize terms and conditions:
- 10.1 The prize can be used to fund a package deal for a weekend away worth R10 000.
- 10.2 The winner may choose any destination in South Africa.
- 10.3 The prize is non-refundable and may not be transferred for cash or any other services. The winner will lose any part of the prize value they do not use for the package deal.
- 10.4 If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18 years, the winner will forfeit the prize, and the Board will award the prize to the next valid entry.
- The winner will be notified on 25 November 2020. The winner must use the prize and take the weekend away before 1 April 2021 or lose it.
