Register with the CDE to get comprehensive care for diabetes

Members on the Remedi Comprehensive Option have access to the Cardiovascular Diabetes Education programme provided by the Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology.

Managing diabetes is a team effort

No single person or professional can offer you all the care that you need to manage your diabetes. To manage diabetes effectively, it is vital that you see a doctor, dietitian, diabetes nurse educator, podiatrist and an eye-care specialist, to name a few of the members of a diabetes team. That is why the CDE’s Diabetes Management Programme follows a team approach.

Remedi Medical Aid Scheme and the CDE provide you with comprehensive care

The Diabetes Management Programme offers you:

  1. Access to team-based diabetes care
  2. Access to a diabetes nurse educator at no cost to you or to your Medical Savings Account
  3. Consultations with a CDE-accredited diabetes doctor (without co-payments)
  4. Diabetes education, mentoring and coaching
  5. Annual consultation with a CDE-accredited dietitian
