World Aids Day

Our members have cover, no matter their HIV status

December is the holiday and festive season, but that’s not all the month is known for. World AIDS Day is on 1 December to remind people around the world to know their status and keep fighting the virus, whether they have it or not. With modern treatment, people with HIV can live long, healthy lives.

We know HIV and AIDS can be a sensitive matter. That’s why we will never tell anyone your HIV status without your permission.

Medicine to prevent HIV infection

If you need HIV medicine to prevent HIV infection, spreading the virus from mother to child during birth, occupational or traumatic exposure to HIV, including sexual assault, call us immediately on 0860 123 077.

You must start treatment within 72 hours.

Help if you have HIV/AIDS

If you have HIV/AIDS, our skilled and professional team will help you get access to clinically sound and cost-effective treatment for your individual case. If you register for the HIVCare Programme, the Scheme pays for your treatment. This means you don’t use up your day-to-day benefits to manage HIV/AIDS.

To register on the HIVCare Programme, call us on 0860 123 077.
