How to use the Medical Provider Search?

To use the Medical Provider Search on Discovery's website, follow these steps:

1. Log in: visit www.discovery.co.za and log in using your username and password.

2. Navigate to the Search Tool:

• Click on "Find a healthcare professional".
• You'll see two search bars:
  • "What are you looking for?": Here, type in the type of healthcare professional you need (e.g., optometrist, cardiologist, etc.).
  • "Area or exact address": Enter your precise location or the area where you're seeking healthcare services.

3. Search Results:

• The tool will provide you with a list of healthcare professionals within your specified location.
• It will clearly indicate which providers are within the network (covered by your plan) and which ones are not.

Remember to input your exact location to avoid receiving a broad list of professionals across the entire country. If there is no healthcare professional in the area you are looking in, the tool will give you a list of healthcare professionals in other areas.
