Are your contact details up to date?

We want to make sure you are up-to-date with news relating to your Plan, claims and any preauthorisation for procedures.

While we mostly communicate by email and SMS, it’s also important to keep your postal and home address up to date as we use your address on official documents like your tax certificate. Please make sure all your contact details are correct.

Update your contact details online (If you are registered on the website)

You can update your contact details by logging in to www.discovery.co.za and following these simple steps:

01 | Click PORTFOLIO.
02 | On the drop down menu, select Update Your Details. This opens the One Time Password settings page.
03 | Choose how you would like to receive your onetime password.
04 | Enter the one-time password and check that your details are correct.
05 | Click the Submit button to save your changes. Please contact us on 0860 101 252 if you have any questions.

Shoprite branch email addresses

Please give us another email address if you use a branch email address (such as 0125452@shoprite.co.za). We use your email address to send you important and private information like claims statements, approval for hospital stays and to let you know if there’s a problem with your medical scheme membership.

If you have given us a branch email address it forces us to send important information to you by post. Since the postal service is not reliable, you may get your information late or not at all.

If you use SMS for your one-time password and we have your cellphone number on file, you can change your email address online. To update your details, keep your cellphone nearby, log in to www.discovery.co.za, choose PORTFOLIO and click on Update Your Details. To protect your information, the system will send you a one-time password. If the system does not send you a password, please call 0860 101 252 to update your email address.
